Hurricane in Hanger - France
Hi all
This photo was of interest to me - Hurricane in France. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=300162573181 I am assuming it is LK-L of 87Sqn, damaged and left at 'Calais', France in May.June 1940.Looking at the damage I would guess the aircraft flipped over - no fin, crushed windscreen, broken canopy and crushed rear fuselage behind cockpit. Unfortunately serial is readable. I did read though that Bee Beaumont flew LK-L P3374? I assume it is not the same one? I also see 'Sudek 13' got this for 19.87Euro - pretty good price. Any thoughts on when this Hurricane was damaged? regards Mark
