Peter Clare is on a distinguished road
Liberator AM259 / USSR A-20

The following page from Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preproduction_B-24 gives the loss of B-24 Liberator AM259 on 5 January 1943 caused by a midair collision with a USSR A-20. Could someone please confirm this?

Any help appreciated

Regards
Peter.
