1/Ltn. Edward Shantz, 358FG 14. Okt. 1944

I have the combatreport from the 2/le.Flakabt. 751 (v) who shoot down his plane over Saarburg at about 17.21h AM. The Report say, that Ltn. Shantz use his parachute and excape in the wooden aera near the crashplace from his P-47.
In the past I hear rumors, that he was KIA and no longer MIA. Is this correct?
