15 August 1940
Hi guys
I am unaware if this has been discussed before on this Forum, but I note an anomaly when comparing The Battle of Britain Then & Now with Jochen Prien's Teil 4/II regarding I/JG54 for 15 August 1940. BoB has two pilots if 2/JG54 as having been shot down and killed (probably in combat with 266 Squadron) at circa 1900, namely Ltn Gerlach/Gorlach and Fw Schnaar, while Prien does not show these losses at all. Would someone kindly enlighten me, please. Have a nice one Brian
