Lancaster W.4265 No.9 Sqn RAF Waddington
Hi can anyone give me any information or direct me to where I can find some on John William Bowes, Flight Engineer on Lancaster W.4265 No.9 Sqn RAF Waddington operating Wellington and Lancaster bombers. F/Sgt Bowes took part in raids on Wismar 23/9/42 and Genoa 7/11/42.
On return to Waddington on the 8/11/42 W.4265 collided with Lancaster R.5916, both crews were killed. Regards Roger |
