Memorizing wrongly. The Pori logs do not cover as early as August 1941. But in the Kenttälentovarikko 2 (2nd Field Air Depot) fuelling lists for German aircrafts in period 1.-14.8.1941 (August) there is only one M8- code: "M8-KC". The plane was given 1600 liters aviation fuel and 12 kg "Speed-olene" oil in 8.8.1941. As you see in the photos Groth's Me 110 is being refuelled by Finns. I would attach a digiphoto of the list in question but it is too big to be attached and I haven't program here at home to resize it. The archival code for the file containing the list is T19449/2 (at Kansallisarkisto (National Archives), Sörnäinen, former Sota-arkisto) and the material and photos were sent to me by mr. Pentti Manninen. This does not need to mean that Groth was flying M8+KC when he crashed. Cheers, Kari
