F/O Douglas Bader - 16th March 1940

16th March 1940 - 19 Squadron relieve 46 Sqn, and fly to North Coates to carry out convoy patrols in sections of two Spitfires, throughout the day returning to Duxford at 19.00 hours.

Does anyone know if Douglas Bader was flying this day?

As a member of 236 Sqn on a jolly to North Coates thinks he met him in the bar!

Any help would be great

Kind Regards

Andy Bird
