Gruppenkommandeur III./SG3 on 12-Feb-1944 Question.
I am currently researching a DKiG Vorschlagliste to an Uffz. Darsow of 8./SG3.
As part of this research I an attempting to find the identity of the Gruppenkommandeur of III./SG3 on 12-February-1944. http://www.ww2.dk/air/attack/sg3.htm Lists the post as being filled by Hptm Heinz Hamester, 31.12.43 - 15.6.44 http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/...hwader/SG3.htm Lists the post as being held by Hauptmann Eberhard Jacob, 1. Dezember 1943 - Mai 1944. Can anyone shed any light on this question? Any help will be very gratefully received. Regards Richard.
