Bombing of Brailsford 10 April 1941
Just by chance I found out that my village was bombed in the early morning of 10 April 1941. The bombs fell about a mile apart and exploded around 00.15 in the morning. Two horses were killed and some buildings heavily damaged.
It would be nice to find the aircraft, but if not so the (possible) type and unit. I would like to know which units from Luftwaffe were operating that night, as the main target I am told was Birmingham that night. Perhaps there is a likely aircraft or unit! Has anybody out there a clue, please? Kind regards |
