DaveM2: I believe this is most likely an aircraft of the unit that became KGr100, the Pathfinder gruppe. Their aircraft were known as Three-Masters. There is more information in Ken Wakefield's book on the unit, The First Pathfinders.
Fortunately I have it to hand. The unit was 7 Company Ln Abt 100 (Luftnachrichten Abteilung), and ditto 8 Company. As this aircraft appears to have four masts, perhaps it is an early experiment for the X-Geraet?
