He 115 Loss against PQ 17
Apparently a 1./906 He 115 was lost sometime between 2/7/42 and 10/7/42 whilst flying a bombing mission against PQ 17. It's crew were rescued by Seenotbereichskommando IX(Kirkenes). If anybody could help my with the identity of the aircraft concerned (Vbkzn., Wnr.) and the date of its loss - perhaps even crew members - it would be much appreciated.
Further, if someone could tell me if the aircraft was somehow salvaged (if possible) that would be great! Thanks in advance Adam
