Horridoh again
Hello,
The significance of the expression "Horrido" is well known, as this was the cry of German pilots after shooting down an enemy. In Berlin I have found a house, ca 80-100 years old, with the text "Horridoh" with an additional "h" spelled in German "Fraktur"-style on the house facade. Deer antlers are also put up. The house is situated in northern Pankow (a borough in Berlin) and is in a worn down condition but inhabited. Does any one know about this house and why Horridoh is spellt on its facade? Could Horridoh have another significance than the earlier mentioned? Kind regards, Olof
