Gottingen in September 1944

Hi,

Were any units stationed at the Gottingen airfield in September of 1944? I understand that there was a Luftwaffenkommando IX unit there late in 44. Could that have been as early as September? Also, does anyone know what specific aerodynamic projects were in the works at the wind tunnel there at that time?
