Kokemäki airfield, Finland
During a recent trip to Fnland my host took me to a small airfield some 10 kms west of Kokemäki, a town roughly between Tampere and Rauma.
According to the gentleman the airfield was built for/by the Germans for operations by the Luftwaffe. Behind the computer at home however I could not find any wartime reference to this airfield so far. It's just south of Route 2194 near Highway 2 and still in use for light aviation. Any Finnish board member who can help me out here? (By the way: enjoyed the museum in Tikkakoski/Jyväskylä.) Kiitos! Leendert
