Need date that Oberstlt Günter Schwartzkopff was Promoted to Oberst
Hello,
Have located a good photo of what I think is Oberstlt Günter Schwartzkopff during 1939 with Oberstlt rank insignia on the sleeve of his flying suit. Does anyone know when he was promoted to Oberst? This will help me date the photo, if it is him. This may have been when be became Gesch Kde of StG77 on 01.06.39. Regards,
