FW190 JG2 at Nantes in 23/9/1943
A old man living near the Chateau-Bougon airfield during WW2 saw several FW190 in landing quickly at Nantes in 1943. Several aircraft were damaged in the confusion.
In a list received afew days ago I noted that in 1943 septembre 23 (date of Nantes bombing), 5 aircrafts are noted as : Nantes JG2 FW190A6 Wn170039 (100) Nantes JG2 FW190A6 Wn530312 (100) Nantes b. JG2 FW190A6 Wn530395 (100) Nantes b. JG2 BF109G6 Wn19472 (100) Nantes b. JG2 FW190A6 Wn 470012 (40). So I try to find a connection between the both informations. Do you more inforrmations about this event? Friendly
