Battle lost 24/25 September 1940
Hi guys
On the night of 24/25 September Battle L5351 of 301 (Polish) Squadron crashed near RAF Honington (Suffolk), killing P/O J. Kulinski, Sgts J. Waronski and K. Paliwoda. It was returning from a raid on invasion barges. The crew are buried at RAF Honington. It is believed that it was the victim of an RAF Blenheim night fighter. Seeking further details, please. Any ideas as to which Blenheim unit may have been operating in the area? Cheers Brian |
