Barkhorn flight training location?

Hello All,

In listening to our Franz Stigler (JG 27/JV 44) interviews, he mentions that one of his students, when he was instructing at B2 school, was Gerhard Barkhorn.

From what I can gather, this may have taken place at the Military Air Academy of the Luftwaffe in Dresden.

Has any one ever come across any records showing where Barkhorn received his various flight training?

Thanks!
Bryan
