Heinkel HE 6 mystery
Hi
At eBay here there is a photo of a very rare sea-bird, the Heinkel HE 6b, D-1220. The caption underneath the photo appears to refer to the achievement of a record for this aircraft, possibly relating to refuelling (unfortunately my German is not good enough to be accurate). I can however find absolutely nothing about the HE 6. The photo shows it be from the same family as the HE 1, 2 etc. Does anyone know anything else about this mystery aircraft? regards Ian
