6./KG 27 Loss 13 March 1941
Following a request from the son of one of the crew of the 1G+AP, He 111 H-3, W.Nr 3346, lost on sortie to Glasgow on 13 March 1941 can anyone add any detail as to the likely cause and location of the loss? I am presuming that the aircraft came down in the sea.
I have crew of: Rudolph, Liebs, Schmidt, Hribar and Miss (although the latter may be a corruption?) and as I do not have any relevant NVM perhaps somebody has some further detail to add? Most particularly, details about the cause and location of the actual loss are sought by the family.
