Gruff27 is on a distinguished road

USAAF Branch of Service Pins and greeting.

After another rummage thorugh my spare room I came across a small frame containing 2 x BOS Pins and a note to my late Father. Iv not had a good day as far as Name deciphering goes and was wondering If anyone can tell me who scribbled the note.

Any further info would be most welcome!
