AR96 crash in March 1944 near Tarbes Pau
Hi guys,
I am sure of the following: - an Arado 96 crashed in March 1944 in the Benejacq Forest (between Tarbes and Pau, south west of France). I have remains of this aircraft; - it was either on March 6 or on March 10, 1944 (local witness memories) - there is definitely one Ar96 that went missing on March 6 (1944-03-06, 2./JG 101, Ar 96B-3, 964379, 22 weiße, Pontacq, 7 km westlich Ossun und 24 km südöstlich Pau,. Bruch 100 %. Flugschüler Ofhr Wesser, Hans, tot) see my previous thread: (http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showth...t=27053&page=4) so, my question is: is there an Arado96 missing on March 10, 1944 in this area ?? Thanks and best regards; GC |
