8./JG 26 1943 request
Good morning all
Does anyone know if the following pilots from 8./Jg 26 are still alive, and if so how they might be contacted please. Ofw. Max Martin and Ofw Hans Heitmann My interest is in Uffz. Heinrich (Heinz) Walter who was shot down on 28th January 1943 by Eddie Musgrave of 137 Squadron RAF. I'm hoping to find out who flew with Walter that day and any details re the combat that took place. Thank you all in advance (although I think my request is a long-shot!)
