JU88 4/KG30 4D+AM Jonsvatnet April 1940
Gentlemen!
Just got this picture in the mail box.. The picture shows a JU88 that chrashed due landing on the ice at Jonsvatnet lake in the April days in 1940. More info is found on Kjell Sorensen great web site : http://ktsorens.tihlde.org/flyvrak/jonsvatnet4.html I am looking for the following info: -Does anybody have the hole wrknr? -Name of the crew? -Any casualities (must have been I think because of the turning over)? -More pictures of the a/c before and on the ice. -Can anybody read the writing on the back ?(even drunk as a skunk I would never have been abel to write like that) I have a strange feeling that this a/c still is on the bottom of the lake.On of the pictures on Kjell`s web page shows the a/c beeing partly dismantled , but you could see that it already is sinking. Cheers!
