War Digs - Discovery Channel

I watched with interest on Sunday, the War Digs programme on Discovery History with Andy Saunders and his team who were searching for a Lancaster which was shot down in 1944.

I was wondering if a dig has ever been made upon the wreckage of the Dornier which impacted beside Victoria Station on Sept 15th 1940?

Whether anything remains who knows but I do remember seeing the recovery of parts of Ray Holme's Hurricane at a crossroads nearby.

Worth a programme Andy???
