Re: JU-88 A1 Data plate
Hi all,
Number on "A-1" plate is serial number of the part (and in line with some other Arado plates I have numbers of) and possibly belonged to A-5 somewhere in Arado W.Nr. 08823xx or Henschel W.Nr. 08833xx ranges. The flap part 88.302 was indentical on A-1, A-3 to A-11 series, and also C and D series aircraft, and could have "travelled" if recycled after wing damaged, replaced or repair etc. etc. Without knowing exactly where it was found, its nearly impossible to say what aircraft it belonged to. regards Ed
