Ju 88 nose?
Hello,
Those parts are said coming from a Ju 88. They were found where an alleged Ju-88 crashed : http://www.aircrewremembrancesociety...4/Florian.html For sure, this comes from a german aircraft but I couldn't recognize it as a Ju 88 G-6. It seems to be a nose (or a engine nacelle tip?) with attaches and perhaps a hole for a weapon... I am quite lost as this piece has a kind of 'shark' section compared to a more 'rounded' Ju 88 nose. The horseshoe-like ferrous part may be the base for an radar antenna but where are the others? The G-6 hasn't machine-guns through the nose compared to C variants. Approx dimensions: width 100cm, height : 75 cm, length : 85cm. There is also a panel which comes from the same crash location. I guess for restoration specialist, this trick should be easy meat... Could you ID those parts please? Best regards ClinA-78 Last edited by ClinA-78; 28th October 2012 at 11:14. |
