A FW190A FLAP INDICATOR ?

Hi there,

here is a FW190A component which looks very much like a flap indicator (graduation from 0 to 60);

however, I wonder where it was positioned. I would have thought this is in the cockpit area, but I found it next to the wing:

could the wing of the FW190 carry such an indicator ?
