POW photos
Hello!
I am in the process of researching the loss of a relative on Lancaster ND672 on the night of 22nd March 1944. Of the seven crew on board teh Lancaster, 6 were KIA however the mid upper gunner managed to escape and became a POW. His name was Sgt Peter Velasco (sometimes cited as Ruiz-de-Velasco). I am trying to find out a bit more on him as I have his POW repatriation report from TNA and I know he was in Stalag Luft I. But what I am trying to find is a POW photo of him. I noticed that in a lot of places there are the POW photos taken by the Germans when an airmen was captured, is there somewhere that these photos survive? Regards, Ashley
