Sicily, June 1943
I would need some confirmation.
What are the units (and how many planes) that took part in the bombing of Sicily on June 13, 1943 and June 17, 1943? I have this data: June 13, 1943 24 B-24 376th Heavy Bombardment Group 22 B-24 98th Heavy Bombardment Group 36 Spitfires 126,185,229 and 249 Squadron June 17, 1943 B-24 376th Heavy Bombardment Group (how many?) Dropped 232 bombs of 500 pounds 200 bombs of 100 pounds Are there other data that you can provide to me? Where can I find the data from these missions? Thanks, Daniele.
