Mirek Wawrzynski is an unknown quantity at this point
Soviet pilots, unit on 13.09.39 and 3 PZL.37 Łoś

In the Soviet Union landed two Polish bomber on September 13, 1939. It was PZL.37 Łoś from Esakadra Ćwiczebno-bombowa. The crews wandered and mistakenly got there. The third bomber crashed in this flight.

This event is described in the documents of the NKVD border guards and on the Polish side too.

In order to capture bombers the Soviet fighters were sent. They managed to get to land two Polish bomber near the village Davidoviczi - 38 km from Mozyr. Third crashed on the ground - all KIFA (?).

So far it is not known Soviet aviation unit, whose pilots were involved in this action?

Maybe someone has information on this topic?

Regards,
mw
