eBay: one Bf 109 E. Stab III./JG 54
Gentlemen,
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Foto-Flugzeug...item3f244f834e In auction since last week. And four olders in attachment. The new one lets show one emblem and scoreboard; huge one. So we have the choice between JG 1 (seller), JG 21, JG 27 and III./JG 54. Maybe an ErgSt. too ... With that camo and the snow period is most probably winter 1940/41. Note the spinner cap and C-3 in Octane triangle. Because of period JG 1 & JG 21 can be eliminated and emblem background is too dark for JG 27. Hence III./JG 54. With that scoreboard ... Bob's plane? should be but he wasn't flying in Stab Staffel at the end of 1940. I have only one guess: The 22/12/1940 Bruch (98%. that matches obviously with what we have on pictures) of Uffz. Herbert Bauch (7.Staffel) who was flying an E-4/B WNr.3752 (a Stab III./JG 54 plane) with Doppelwinkel as it is written. Comments? Regards, Franck.
