Ju 86 Interceptions Aug-Sep 42
I know that Alfred Price has written about the 'Battle in the Stratosphere' but can anyone identify what sqns were scrambled to intercept on the following dates as noted in the 11 Gp ORB (10 Gp was more specific!):
24 Aug 42 (18 Spitfires) 25 Aug 42 (6 Spitfires) 27 Aug 42 (2 Spitfires) 30 Aug 42 (2 Spitfires) 4 Sep 42 (2 Spitfires) 5 Sep 42 (3+2 Spitfires) Also, does anyone know the identities of the two 94 FS pilots scrambled to intercept 6 Sep 42?
