Gents,
A quick look in the claimlists of the Chef.Abt.für Auszeichnungen und Disziplin from Luftwaffen Personalamt shows that we are talking about two different pilots: The first claim was made by Oblt. Günther Friedrich (II./NJG 2), he is the one who joined the Stab NJG 1. The second claim was made by Oblt. Gerhard Friedrich (II./NJG 4) who later joined I./NJG 6 as described by Chris.
