Col. Robert R. Scott,USAF
Gentlemen,
Not many people knew that Robert R. Scott had flew P-61s at night to score 2 Japanese planes during WWII and scored one victory over a North Vietnamese fighter jet during the Vietnam War. He also flew much combat in the Korean War and tangled with MiG-15s but wasn't able to record a confirmed kill. He did made bombing attacks on North Korean airfelds destroying enemy planes on the ground. Scott was the winner of four Silver Stars,six Distinguished Flying Crosses ,and three Legion of Merits in three Wars. Sincerely, Edward L. Hsiao |
