158 IAP P-40 loss 1 feb 42
hi,
i have a question about the loss of one P-40 of this squadron in 01 feb 42 i found two claims on this date by two pilots of JG54: 3./JG 54 Oblt 1 2 42 P-40 Ostermann Max-Hellmuth 1050 * E J 62 3./JG 54 Fw 1 2 42 P-40 Lautenschlager Gerhard 1051 * E J 9 and i found a loss: 158 IAP lost AK295, which was shot down in aerial combat. my question is: at least one lost for 2 claims? overclaim 2 * 1? any more info.... anyone knows any website with information of P-40 losses of 154 IAP or 158 IAP? many thanks, regards
