Luftwaffe plane landing in Sweden 5. 10. 1944
Hello,
I´m looking for details about following incident who remained mystery for me: On 5 October 1944 an Luftwaffe plane of unknown type deserted (?) from Germany and landed in Sweden. Crew was interned. Between the crew members was an airman (rank unknown, but possibly NCO) Hermann Poidinger, born 22 Feb 1923 in Czechoslovakia. After landing he volunteered for the Czechoslovak Army (in Britain). Does anybody, please, any details about circumstances, identity of all crew members, their plane, unit etc? Thanks in advance.
