Codes of Me 410As from the V/KG 2

Does anybody know why codes of individual Staffeln of the V/KG 2 are a bit odd? I mean e.g. U5 + KG (probably Stab) or U5 + FE (probably 14.)etc. Or perhaps they are not U5 but F8 (ex-KG 40)? Any help appreciated .
