Vitus Monshausen - 2./NJG 6
Hi Guys - I'm hoping to find information about Unteroffizier Vitus Monshausen, a backseater with 2./NJG 6. He earned his Qualification Badge in June 1943 and went on to win the Iron Cross Second Class on April 7, 1944. He was killed only days later, on April 25th.
Does any one have any information about him and the events that surrounded his EK award as well as his death? Perhaps he is mentioned in Das kriegstagebuch des nachtjagd geschwader 6 by Werner Kock. For what it's worth, I don't see an entry in the Volksbunde database for him. Thanks, Brian
