Uffz. Max Gehringer, a fighter pilot from Normandy
Hello!
This time, I would like to ask about a fighter pilot from a Jagdstaffel. Uffz. Max Gehringer was killed Juli 17. 1944 in Normandy. I cannot find him in the JG 26 book by Caldwell, so i do not think, he was with this unit. I would like to know more about the circumstances of this pilot's death, if possible, aircraft, codes etc. etc. Thank You in advance Christian PS. I know, i often asks questions about these aircrew members and i sincerely hope, You don't get tired of my questions. I have many books with loss lists, but not all of them, therefore my questioning.
