Re: Operation Aphrodite
Thanks a million Alex - excellent information.
Cheers Brian On the first Aprodite operation one co-pilot was killed when the BQ-7 crashed at Orford on 4/8/44. Has anyone his identity? And what was the serial number of his aircraft - either 41-24639, 42-39825, 42-30342 or 42-3461? Another pilot was killed on 11/9/44 aboard 42-30180. Has anyone his identity? Many thanks Brian Last edited by Brian; 6th February 2006 at 23:26. |
