B17 crew member washed up on Kent Coast Nov 43, WHO DAT - DING BAT
Trying to find any reports, info, newspaper articles on washed up crew.
Missing in Action Bremen 29/11/43 with Bill Swope, Co-pilot: Norm Weider, Navigator: Bob Prolow{washed up in dinghy at Whitstable, Kent}, Bombardier: Doug Baker, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Stan Robinson, Radio Operator: Dick Street, Ball turret gunner: Jim Harbison, Waist gunner: Earl Robinson, Waist gunner: Elmer Congdon{washed up in dinghy at Whitstable, Kent},Tail gunner: Francis Magner (10 Killed in Action); ran out of fuel, crashed Tessel Is., Hol; Missing Air Crew Report 1532.
