To Merlin:
You say that there were no Ar 66 between W.Nr. 1198 and 1801. In fact, there were at least two series of Werk Nummern, one in the 1200 series and one in the 1400 series. I have from aircraft repair reports at least between 60 and 70 W.Nummer that prove this. They are reports in the RL 3 documents series from Bundesarchiv-Militärarchiv. Again I urge you to quote what sources you are using. The W.Nr. 1244 is absolutely valid. This aircraft arrived at Hans Klemm Flugzeugbau in Böblingen on 17.09.1937 and spent 86 days there for repairs.
