LW bomber in Turkey - 16.7.1942
On or just before 16 July 1942 a twin-engined German bomber made an emergency landing at Trabzon on the Turkish coast of the Black Sea, I read in a newspaper of that time.
Aircraft apparently on a recce mission to the Caucasus region (Operation Edelweiss to capture the oil fields had gone underway then). Crew was interned. Who has more info about the aircraft and/or crew involved? Regards, Leendert
