Hello Nokose,

The Mosquito crashed near the village of Lijnden at 23.55 hrs local time.

With regard to Hptm Schnell's claims I can state that lighting conditions are good at 20.12 (!) hrs local in summer time. I believe he misidentified his opponent and his adversary was in fact a Spitfire. The Matlask Wing, which was on escort duty for a Ramrod to Schiphol, got into combat with Bf 109's near Zandvoort.
