3.07.1942 - Ju 88A-4s of 2./KuFlGr 106
On 3.07.1942 two Ju 88A-4s of 2./KuFlGr 106 penetrated British airspace and subsequently both were downed.
The first one went down at 20.20 and was 140016 M2+BK. Crew: Fw. Heinz Majer, Ofr. Horst Wyborny, Uffz. K Schatzschneider (cannot find him on VDK database), Uffz. Theobald Frank, all were killed. The second one force landed at 20.30 and was 140017 M2+KK. Crew was: Hptm. H Bergemann, Ofr. B Mueller, Uffz. E Fahning, Uffz. J Fickenwirth, all taken PoW. Does anyone have any photos of those crewmen, their first names or any pictures of aircraft before or after? If any of crew taken PoW is still alive, any contact details are also appreciated. Thanks
