Kriegsberichter Loss in 1941
I know this is a long shot and I have little information but here we go ,
on 22 November 1941 the body of a German airman was washed ashore on the south east coast of Ireland . His rank appeared to be that of a Lt. and on his tunic was the cufftitle " Kriegsberichter Der Luftwaffe " . From Irish records his unit is down as " L.W. Baukomp" and his number is 1/307/111 and the number 69 under the underlined . Sadly his body was in a bad condition and he was in the water for some months , does anybody have any losses for Kriegsberichters during this period ? Thanks.
