Karl-Georg Genth
Hello,
i just want to inform you, that my father Karl-Georg Genth, died July 30th at Luebeck, he became 91 years old. In WW2 he had been pilot of III JG 26 and survived being shot down with his FW 190 D9 on March 7th 1945 severely wounded. Nevertheless, he recovered and started a civil pilot career after the war. Amongst others he flew the Hawker Sea Fury for several years as a target tug for a private German company. He was always restless and full of ideas, hopefully, he found his final peace now. Thomas
