Wikipedia sufferes as all multi media does. Correct info is replaced by false, because it is tought more correct. False info repeated enough times becomes fact.
"In service" is wrong term here. These were multi-use units and not that many needed to "support" fleet of planes. Early Ju 88´s were designed to take them, so likely in use or available already by 1940-1941. |
