Nightfigher claim 4 May 1944
Morning all, on the 4th of May 1944, Lancaster ND881 of 405 Squadron was lost to nightfigher near Montdiddier. One of the aircrew lost was P/O M A Burnaby who pre war worked for Hampshire Constabulary as a messenger / clerk who I am researching on behalf of the force history society.
Can anyone assist me with details of the nightfigher pilot who claimed this aircraft? Del.
